Versi-Foam® is also available in a 2 pound per cubic foot density with slower reactivity.  Where most of our foams are tack free in approximately 30 to 45 seconds, the Slow Rise formula is tack free in approximately 3 minutes.  This is useful in applications where the foam needs to flow to distant areas before it solidifies.  Please be aware, that the slower cure time does not affect the expansion. The Slow Rise formula will expand approximately six times it original liquid volume, therefore, the Slow Rise foam is NOT recommended for use in wall cavities where one or more sides of the wall is gypsum wallboard or other material that would not withstand the pressure of the expansion.

The Versi-Foam® Slow Rise System is 97% closed cell an has an insulation R-value of 7.7.  The Versi-Foam® Slow Rise formula is available in several different sizes depending on the application.

System 15 Slow Rise

The Versi-Foam® System 15 Slow Rise is the medium size foam kit in the Versi-Foam® product line.  The Versi-Foam® System 15 Slow Rise is packaged in one carton weighing 41 pounds and includes the two chemical components, our patented U-Control dispensing gun attached to two 10 foot hoses, ten mixing nozzles, three fan tips, and nitrile gloves.  The Versi-Foam® System 15 Slow Rise will produce 200 square feet of cured foam at a 1" thickness, or 16.5 cubic feet.

System 50 Slow Rise

The Versi-Foam® System 50 Slow Rise is the largest size foam kit in the Versi-Foam® product line.  The Versi-Foam® System 50 Slow Rise is packaged in two cartons, each weighing approximately 60 pounds. The system is complete with the two chemical components, our patented U-Control dispensing gun attached to two 15 foot hoses, ten mixing nozzles, three fan tips, and nitrile gloves.  The Versi-Foam® System 50 Slow Rise will produc 600 square feet of cured foam at a 1" thickness, or 50 cubic feet.

The medium and large size systems can be shut down and used on another day.  However, it is very strongly recomended that the systems are used at least once every seven days.

The published yields for the Versi-Foam® Slow Rise Systems are theoretical and vary based on several factors, including ambient conditions and specific application.
